Vanessa's Opinion

I've only been using this product for a week or so, and since I don't have dark spots, I can't really testify about the dark spot reduction. I like how this product contains SPF 15, that way I know my skin will be protected from the harsh sun-rays. I agree that it isn't greasy, and smooths out my skin and pores. The coverage is more light-medium. If you have visible pimples or scars, the will peep through. However, it will even out your unevenness, and smooth pores. Personally, I would recommend using either your fingers, blending sponge, or a Sigma F80 brush for an even application.  I like to put MAC's studio finish concealer on pimples (if any), and then finish it all of with Bare Mineral's Mineral Veil to complete a light, yet flawless look!

I personally think this BB cream deserves more attention because I love how healthy and flawless my skin looks. I highly suggest this BB cream for someone with sensitive skin because it doesn't feel heavy, and did not break my skin out.

Until Next Time,

REVIEW: E.L.F HD Studio Blush (+swatches!)

Hello beautiful!

As some of you may have seen in my previous post, I went a little overboard online at I am in love with their studio line. They have high quality products that closely resembles products from high-end brands, but are just as affordable as drugstore finds! From that haul, one product that really captured my eye was their HD Blushes. For only $3, you can choose from a couple different vibrant blush shades! Or, if you're like me, you can buy all the shades they offer! The intensity and pigmentation of these cream blushes are incredible. You only need a pin-head size amount to cover both cheeks. A little bit goes a very long way, and the longevity of these blushes are outstanding. I wore the shade "Superstar" to my prom, and even at the end of the night, my blush did not fade! The ELF Studio Line is one of my all time favorite drug store brands because they have a range of products that will not put a shoe in your wallet! I love finding those "diamond in the rough" products, so if you know of any, please let me know!

In the collection, there are 5 different shades. "Headliner", "Superstar", "Diva", "Encore", "Showstopper". I only purchased 4 of them because when I ordered the blushes online, the unfortunately did not have the shade "Diva". One thing that I love about these products is that they're not only cream blushes, but can work as beautiful matte lip creams as well!

E.L.F Studio HD Blush in "Encore"
E.L.F Studio HD Blush in "Headliner"

E.L.F Studio HD Blush in "Showstopper"

E.L.F Studio HD Blush in "Superstar"

Left to right:
Note, the shade "Showstopper" appears as a deep purple in the bottle, but when applied and blended out, it is a merlot wine color.

*Also, you can receive 10% off your orders with the code "MAY2014" at checkout!

HUGE ELF Cosmetics (Eyes Lips Face) HAUL 2014 Part 1

Hello beautiful!

As an impulsive shopper of America, I believe that online shopping is one of the best things on this planet (besides Nutella of course). E.L.F (or Eyes Lips Face) is a drugstore brand, mostly found at stores such as Target! They have many lines, but one that I adore is their studio line. If you are unfamiliar with their studio line, I would definitely go and get my hands on a few of their products because they are absolutely amazing! They are very similar to high end products, at drugstore prices! Most come in sleek matte black packaging and range anywhere from $3-$8 as apposed to their regular line that ranges from $1-$3. The slightly higher price is definitely worth it because their products are amazing and high quality!  I did make a purchase recently, and bought 38 different products that I'm excited to share with you! I did make 2 separate orders, but since they had a special "Free shipping on all orders $35+" the 2 separate orders weren't a big deal. This haul is so huge I have to separate them into 2 posts, so stay tuned for the second post!

If you see a product I mention in my haul, feel free to let me know if you want a more in depth review on the product, and I'd be happy to do so!

Hello gorgeous!

I wanted to make a quick announcement to everyone that all Sephora stores will be selling Lorac Cosmetic products for 50%! I went to a regular store, as well as one located inside of a JC Penny's and the sales associate told me that Lorac Cosmetics will no longer be sold at Sephora stores and therefore they are trying to sell their stock of Lorac products. What is out is what is out so make sure you purchase them as soon as possible! They had their infamous lipglosses for less than $10.00, their natural performance foundation for $18.00,  Powders and cream foundations for $16, tanning products for less than $20, and more!

Be sure to stop by your local Sephora to score this amazing deal!

Review: Herbal Essences Body Envy Dry Shampoo

Hello beautiful!

I'm super excited that drugstores are carrying more and more dry shampoos! Before, I was always so hesitant on trying dry shampoos after my unfortunate experience with the one by Suave Professionals (let's just say it looked like I didn't shower in days with a load of dandruff). However, I took a trip to Walmart to try out one of their exclusive brands created by Drew Barrymore, Flower Beauty. Some strange force led me to the hair aisle where I browsed through the Herbal Essences section and saw that they had a new product, dry shampoo! I believe they carry three different scents, but the "uplifting citrus essence" drew me in.

I got mine at Walmart for $6.99+tax and it is located in the hair care aisle.

Herbal Essences Body Envy Dry Shampoo $6.99+tax

The Claims:

"add some pep without the prep. our zesty fragrance will excite your senses while our lock-lifting dry shampoo formula will give you a first-day clean feel without having to set foot in the shower. how can we make such lofty promises? our not-so-secret weapon: natural tapioca. it instantly absorbs excess oil so your style stays fresh in between shampoos."

Now, I shower every single day. I feel disgusted with myself if I don't. I know it's a controversy amongst many that you should wash your hair every other day, etc. But for me, I prefer to wash my hair daily. However, I did go to a party and curl my hair, and then woke up the next day and wanted to revive my hair and wear the same hairstyle that day, so I used this dry shampoo on my roots and worked it into my scalp. I am so SO happy with this product. I doesn't leave a white cast on the hair, and it makes your hair look clean and fresh. The smell is very pleasant as well! You can also use this as a volumizer as it lifts your hairs from the roots up!
